MATERIALITY – Published Article

MATERIALITY – Published Article

Damien Chwalisz was recently invited to contribute an article for the newly published book ‘Materiality : Brick and Block in Contemporary Australian Architecture’.

His article entitled “Modular construction and its performative potential” is a short essay which is a study on material and their capacity to contribute to the atmosphere of a space, while also forming the primary structural system.  Accompanying the essay are some of Damien s project drawings. The essay and drawings can be found on page 454-455.
