Martin Place Container Home

Residential Masterpiece: Hamilton Place

One of Damien’s standout achievements is the Hamilton Place Residential Project, which has garnered widespread attention for its ingenuity and boldness. Constructed on Adelaide’s smallest residential block, this innovative home is a testament to the potential of compact living.

Using eight repurposed shipping containers, Damien created a multi-level home that seamlessly integrates sustainable practices with striking modern aesthetics. The design optimises every inch of space, providing an elegant and functional home without compromising on comfort or style.

This project received significant media coverage, being featured in architectural and lifestyle publications for its groundbreaking approach. It also earned an industry award for its creativity and efficiency, demonstrating Damien’s ability to solve complex challenges while maintaining artistic flair.

The house recently hit the market for the first time and earned international coverage as far away as the UK. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/homes/article-13129051/Adelaide-smallest-residential-block-sea-container-home-city-centre-property.html

Kimbolton Cellar Door: A Unique Winery Experience

The Kimbolton Cellar Door is another award winning example of Damien’s expertise in container architecture. Located in South Australia’s picturesque Langhorne Creek wine region, this project transformed a series of shipping containers into a sophisticated, yet welcoming wine-tasting destination.

The design incorporates large glass panels to showcase sweeping vineyard views, paired with vibrant interiors that celebrate the brand’s identity. Each container was carefully arranged to create a seamless flow of indoor and outdoor spaces, ensuring visitors feel immersed in the wine country atmosphere.

Since its completion, the Kimbolton Cellar Door has become a landmark destination for wine enthusiasts, praised for its unique design and ability to merge industrial elements with the natural environment.
